About Kalan Roye - Systems/Software Engineer
About Me

I started coding at 8 years old when my dad sat me down, took apart our Windows XP machine, and showed me what was inside. That curiosity never left. Now I'm a CS student at Western University building things I actually care about like full-stack products, AI tools, and the occasional Linux server.
I want to do great things for the world and be remembered for them. Whether that's shipping a product that wins a startup competition, building an ML pipeline that solves a real problem, or quietly self-hosting a Linux box for the past 6+ years- I'm drawn to the craft of making things that actually work.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me at the gym, hiking when summer shows up, or deep in the rabbit hole of the latest tech news.
